Here are a few more photos to show you how the artworks are progressing. Everyone is working hard to get the works finished and clean up around the working areas for our official opening ceremony and press conference tour of the artworks tomorrow morning, Friday, April 29 at 10 AM.
The next Blog post will show the opening weekend activities and feature photos of all 6 artworks completely finished and presented to the public on April 30 and May 1 in Cheng Long Wetlands, Kohu Township, Dunlin County, Taiwan. The public is invited to come view the artworks and talk to the artists and join in some DIY activities from 2:30 to 5:30 Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday May 1 from 9:30 to 11:30 and from 2:30 to 5:30 Sunday afternoon. The artists will all leave Cheng Long village on Monday, May 2 after saying goodbye to the children at Cheng Long Elementary School.
Thank you to all the artists and the volunteers for such hard work to make these artworks. It is great to see them all almost finished! This art project is curated by Jane Ingram Allen, and it is part of the ongoing environmental education program of the Kuan Shu Environmental Education Foundation in Cheng Long village and Cheng Long Elementary School.
