來自藝術家的問候>> Ya-chu say Hello to Children

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHello! I’m back again! It’s been 5 years since I joined the ChengLong Wetlands International Environmental Art Project last time. I find the kids growing a lot now. How time flies!

I came back to Cheng Long from time to time during the past 5 years, but just stayed a very short time. So I’m happy and looking forward to spending more time here with you again.

I’ve joined many art projects in many places during the past years. For example, I went to Peru in early 2015 for a field trip on textiles along its west coast and in the Andes mountains, and I published a book “Textile Map” afterwards. At the end of 2015, I participated in an environmental art project in central India, working with craftsmen and villagers in the rural area on a sculpture made of bamboos. In April, 2016, I created an artwork beside a beautiful cherry tree in an ancient tomb in Ikeda, Gifu, Japan. At the end of 2017, I did weaving with local kids in school in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

My art path is therefore complete because of all of you who work hard to live a fulfilling life.

  1. I look forward to seeing Ya-Chu again.
